About Us :: Parish Hall
Our new Parish Hall was dedicated in 2012 and provides the church with modern and fully accessible facilities to cater for most events. The Hall has enabled us to open our doors ever wider to welcome in the local community, it is now used by many outside groups as well as for church functions.
The facilities are centrally heated and air-conditioned. There are two meeting rooms and access to both halls is via the main entry to the church. There is an elevator if one is unable to navigate the generous staircase.
The main hall, which overlooks the grounds and the trees to the south, has polished wood floors, acoustic tile ceiling, an independent sound system and indirect lighting. Audio and video equipment are available if required. It can accommodate up to 110 people seated in chairs or up to 80 seated at tables. The small hall can accommodate smaller groups of 20 to 30 people. Additional facilities comprise of two fully accessible washrooms and a kitchen being well equipped and certified by the Provincial Health Authorities.
All groups and individuals wishing to use the property are required to contact the Church Administrator and sign our “Use of Facilities Agreement”. This form includes the request to acquire or show proof of insurance coverage. The rental charges for the two halls and or kitchen facilities are reasonable and competitive and may be obtained by calling our office Wednesday to Friday, 9:00am to noon, at 519-599-3074 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org
The consumption of alcohol will be allowed during an event. However, a license must be procured by the applicant prior to the event with a copy given to the Church Administrator. The facility is a smoke-free environment in accordance with By-Law 3942-02.
Our church facilities belong to the Lord; we are the stewards of all that God has given us. We will act as good stewards, looking after the parish hall, while also encouraging its use by the Church and wider community.
